The Sacrifice
She walks along a lonely road,
What dark and shadows here behold,
To touch that flesh she holds so dear.
Would surely mean the end is near.
Now here she stands, her heart belayed,
What darkness there has once betrayed.
The love she yearns so fiercely for,
Would make her long yet nevermore.
She hears the bells, their final toll,
And lays her body upon the flowr’y knoll.
